Backup is not disaster recovery

A successful backup job is a feeling. A timed restore in writing is a practice.

Ask any provider three questions: when did you last restore this tenant, how long did it take, and who is allowed to press the button.

Orbit and Apex drafts include a restore rehearsal. Signal includes backup. The difference is intentional.

If the only copy lives in the same tenant that just got encrypted, that is not a copy.
